You've landed here because of a nagging feeling, a pestering inner voice, or some awakening that's telling you there's more you're meant to do or contribute.
You've probably been feeling this way for a while, but you've tried to ignore it, suppress it, or wish it away. Why? Because you were taught that following your dreams or doing what you love is for fools or 20-year-olds. And at midlife, you have responsibilities, a 401K, kids, and a mortgage, so what you need to do is suck it up and get back to work.
Does that sound about right?
The truth is we want to be supported financially but sustained spiritually. To do something that gives us the energy and fire to wake up every morning ready to go. Something that allows us to be and express ourselves fully. No one wants to be successful and unfulfilled.
We've been conditioned to follow these predetermined rules concerning our lives and careers. Sometimes we follow these unwritten rules so blindly we deny who we are and what we really want, labeling our dreams as selfish or foolish. I get it. Being truthful and honest about what you want can be scary. That's why it's so important to unleash your authenticity and to be unapologetically you.
I'm here to invite you to break from the norm, honor those parts of you that you've ignored, trust your gut, stop pretending, get a little crazy and step into who you were always meant to be, and do what you were always meant to do. To be open to the fact that you can be both successful and fulfilled.
You see, I once believed in limits—limitations on me, my career, and what was possible. I played by the rules, did everything right, and was rewarded with a successful career, status, income, and an amazing lifestyle for me and my kiddos. After I pulled myself back together following a divorce, I felt like I was more than back on track; I was ahead of the game.
Driving home from my office one Sunday early evening I was in a massive car accident. That's the bad news. The good news is I'm still here. I'm here because right before the crash I heard a voice say "turn now!"
Now when I heard the voice I was literally stuck between a rock (a hill) and a hard place (a cliff), so my options were less than optimal, but I listened. I turned.
When we make choices in life, the options are rarely polar opposites. They're usually variations on the same theme, which is why we struggle to decide. What voice do you hear inside that's telling you to "turn now"? What options are you ignoring because they seem less than optimal?
While my choices were challenging in that car that Sunday evening, what I knew for sure was that staying the course would have been the end of me. And while I was injured, as I noted before, I'm still here!
So what I've learned from this accident and the months that followed is that when you hear a strong voice inside you that says it's time to turn, listen! Even though it looks like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, there's always an opening.
I not only turned my car that night, but I also made a complete turn in my life and my career. I stepped into my purpose unapologetically. Now I teach womxn to listen to that voice, find their opening, and step into their purpose on the other side.

Brie Abes, Director of Operations
As an operations manager, it is my honor to be able to use my strengths in leadership, systems, strategy, and processes to help orchestrate the “behind the scenes” of the important work that Carol and Team CPW does.
I am not only a systems and strategy “nerd” by trade, but I am also passionate about being an advocate for the voices and minds of womxn that have felt that they needed to play small in their life—especially in a career.
Being able to work alongside a CEO and team that collectively stays aligned to a mission and vision driven by a passion to help clients live to their fullest potential—is a gift that keeps on giving!
Ashley Pearson, Administrative & Marketing Coordinator
As womxn, we are told on a daily basis to minimize ourselves - from our actions to our speech, to even our weight. And we’re certainly not told to celebrate ourselves for our uniqueness. That is why I find Dr. Carol Parker Walsh’s work so important and inspiring. She teaches all womxn to not just show up, but to take up space, go where they are celebrated and appreciated, and unapologetically shine. Working with a CEO and team that fully support and work toward a diverse and intersectional society is a dream realized.
As the Administrative Coordinator at CPW, I’m the right-hand woman to Carol and the team. Processes, strategies, analytics, organization, and color-coded calendars are my bread and butter. In short, it’s my job to ensure Carol and the CPW team can do what they do best - help and support you along your journey! We have a fabulous team at CPW and it is my honor to work with them.
Jenique Brown, Client Care & Social Selling Manager
The work that Dr. Carol Parker Walsh does really hits home for me. Before bringing my expertise to CPWC, LLC I was on my own journey to creating the life I desire.
I attended FSU and double majored in Biology and Humanities and minored in Chemistry and Interdisciplinary Sciences all while being Pre-Med. I graduated Cum Laude and I was all set to start my career in medicine, only I wasn’t living for me. It wasn’t until I let go of the status quo and outside pressures that I finally began connecting with what I wanted out of life and what success meant to me.
Since embarking on my journey to live a life all my own, I’ve been supporting clients at various companies for over 3 years. Helping people is my passion as is helping others find theirs. As your Client Care Concierge Manager, I am your support system through the entirety of our time together! Along with the aid of our coaches, it is my privilege to support you on your journey to creating the life you not only desire but deserve.
Madelyn Terhune, Administrative Support
Being a part of Team CPW is exciting because I’ve had the privilege of watching this business grow from the start. It’s thrilling to witness something go from a vision into reality. It lets me know that anything is possible if you work hard and have faith in yourself and your dream. What a beautiful thing to witness and an inspiration to propel me toward my goals. That’s what CPW, LLC does for its client…gives us permission to go after the work we’re meant to do in the world.
I’m a recent summer 2020 graduate from California Lutheran University with a major in Psychology and Pre-Med. In addition to working as Admin Support for Team CPW supporting the administrative, operations, marketing, and client care teams, I’m also a Certified Nurses Assistant working in the surgical unit of a local hospital. This work is positioning me to achieve my dream to become a doctor in the medical field.
Nick Terhune, Video Production & Interactive Media
Around here I provide video and media support. Being equal parts "left brain" and "right brain" allows me to be the creative and technological genius behind our multimedia content. I'm also responsible for making sure that all of the company's online content functions on all devices and web browsers, periodically testing and updating as needed.
I attended Washington State University and double majored in Digital Technology & Culture and Sociology.
Join my tribe of women who are ready to stop struggling in a career they no longer love, and pretending to be something they're not. Women who are ready to unapologetically discover and do what they were meant to do in this world.
